Summer Love

Inside your kiss, I can't resist,There's something in your smile.
Poking fun, the lake, the sun,
Sit, make me laugh awhile.
A bit of stubble, a look so subtle,
Lay down and give me chills.
Say it soft, cologne in wafts,
With you my hope refills.
Relax in candles, too much to handle,
How a man can be an ocean.
Fingers laced, your warm embrace,
Your eyes and lips; a potion.
Pillow talk, a downtown walk,
So quiet when your tired.
Dashboard lights, your jaw ignites,
Unexpected, intense desire.
The body of a Grecian God,
A wit not to be outmatched.
A curious mind, intrigued, defined,
Held my face and said "attached".
Kiss me with intent for once,
And come back in for more.
Dribble, dunk and stare at me,
Who won? I wasn't keeping score.
Still dizzy and so jittery,
I can't hide my open book.
You say I'm pretty in Vietnamese,
Exotic, line and hook.
Sing with me baby, country boy,
As loud as you possibly can.
While you grab my waist and hold me tight,
In your soft, amazing hands.
Hold my leg and make me weak,
I miss you when you're gone.
I long for your eyes when you look away,
But my memory has you drawn.
I love your laugh, so sweet, relaxed,
I'm lost in shadows of your dimples.
I rub your back, can't help the fact,
That with each other, life is simple.
You watch me when I walk away,
And turn when I look back.
The winters fading and hurts erasing,
The longer we walk this track.
We don't know where it leads,
But our days are forever etched.
Inside a kiss where we exist,
A million years, compressed.
Warmer than the sun we bathe in,
More real than the clouds above.
A pause in time, where I'll always find,
My wonderful summer love.
